Founder and Visionary Behind NBN Guitar
From Humble Beginnings to Global Stages: Discover Joshua Rogers' Passion for Guitar Education
Joshua Rogers' guitar journey began in March 1988, filled with nervous excitement. From his first lesson, he realised that learning guitar was a profound pursuit requiring dedication and deep musical understanding.
With over thirty years of experience as an international performer and teacher, Joshua has taught graded exams for the Royal School of Music, Trinity College of London, and New Zealand NCEA Music Levels 1, 2, and 3. His teaching method blends classical techniques with a modern approach, emphasising the importance of theory in practical lessons.
Born into the Ngaitai tribe of New Zealand, Joshua’s early, solitary learning experience shaped his musical path. He holds a Licentiate Diploma with Distinction from Trinity College of London and has taught guitar at many schools in New Zealand and Dubai. His online lessons and performances have amassed over sixty thousand subscribers and twelve million views on YouTube.
Under Joshua’s leadership, NBN Guitar has grown into a premier global resource for guitar education. Our programs are built on his extensive experience and commitment to teaching, providing educators with easy-to-use tools and resources to inspire their students.
