Gaspar Sanz was born in Spain in the 17th century and during his life he became an influential Baroque guitar composer with many of his pieces. Canarios is a hugely popular piece and it has such a cheerful joi de vivre feel about it. Every time I play I can't help but feel happy about life in general.
