Introduction

If you haven't seen the movie I'd suggest watching it! Married Life is the name of the theme song for the Pixar Animation Studio's film "Up" released in 2009. My wife and I watched this not long after the movie was released and we loved it. That introduction is a definite tear jerker. Right off the bat I want it known that I did not make this arrangement for guitar. This is taken from the arrangement made by Kevin Nash. .

Tips

  • Plan ahead - use pivots, guide fingers, and preparation wherever possible
  • Make sure you practise your artificial harmonics as that technique features heavily near the end of the piece
  • Keep the rhythm strong and pulsing without too much rubato
